Our team has many years of experience providing mortgage advice to a wide range of borrowers. They know the market inside out and can help you secure the most appropriate mortgage, no matter what your circumstances may be. As well as providing advice for individuals, we also work with partners and other companies, providing mortgage advice to their clients and people.
Meet the team
Michael Atkinson
After gaining a degree from the University of Exeter, Michael started his professional life as an accountant. In 2003, he moved industry and trained to be a mortgage adviser, working with a large brokerage, linked to a chain of estate agents.
After working through and surviving the credit crunch, Michael co-founded Summit Capital Mortgages in 2013 and since then has been providing advice for his clients in London and throughout the UK. Michael’s specialisation is working with city professionals and HNW’s, with complex financing requirements.
When he’s not in the office, Michael is likely to be driving his two children to various sporting fixtures, on the hockey pitch or golf course, or walking his Cocker Spaniel, Maisie.
Ian Broadrick
Ian started his professional life working at the Tunbridge Wells Friendly Society where he took his professional exams and qualified as a Financial Advisor in 1993. Seeking to develop his career further, Ian moved to London in 1998 to join John Charcol; at the time, the leading Mortgage Brokerage in the country. The happy five years spent at John Charcol gave Ian an opportunity to learn from some of the best advisors in the country. As well as developing a first-class advice experience for advising clients on their mortgage needs.
Ian was then given the opportunity to help grow a new mortgage broking business within Hamptons International. It was here that Mike met Ian, and was delighted to get the chance to link up with him once more in 2013 to build Summit Capital Mortgages.
Ian is married to Ali and has two children, along with his Cavapoo, Indie, all of whom take up the majority of his time. But, when he gets the chance, he can be found at his beloved Stamford Bridge, Lords or the nearest golf course.
I have used Michael on two occasions and have found him to be a reliable and trustworthy support through the mortgage selection and buying process. He has excellent, and importantly, up to date knowledge and is able to explain often complex arrangements very simply and calmly. This is a massive help to the stressed out house-buyer. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone and have, in fact, already done so on a number of occasions
